The scope of this project includes the installation of riprap revetment at four (4) locations waterward on the City’s existing seawalls to protect the existing seawalls from erosion at localized areas.

The locations include an area east of Lighthouse Drive (NE 23^rd Avenue) and north of NE 39^th Street at a stormwater outfall, east of Lighthouse Drive (NE 41^st Terrace) ad north of NE 23^rd Terrace at a stormwater outfall, north of NE 39^th Street between NE 30^th Avenue and NE 31^st Avenue, and south of NE 39^th Street, between NE 30^th Avenue and NE 31^st Avenue. 

Work is expected to begin during the week of December 1^st  and will take approximately 2 weeks to complete.

The City of Lighthouse Point will be performing drainage and roadway improvements along NE 21^st Avenue from Sample Road to NE 30^th Street, to include portions of NE 30^th Court and NE 34^th Court. The purpose is to eliminate standing water within the City right-of-way and the adjacent properties. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, drainage improvements, the installation of new drainage connections, storm pipes, drainage inlets and manholes, exfiltration trenching, CIPP of existing storm pipes, resurfacing of existing roadway, pavement striping, and new concrete sidewalks.

The project is expected to begin during the first week of January 2026, and will take approximately 9 months to complete. Traffic will be permitted, and the contractor will ensure all residents can safely navigate around the equipment.  Typical work hours are Monday – Friday from 8am to 6pm with allowance for some weekend work to expedite the project.
