The City of Lighthouse Point is seeking input from the public regarding funding from the Broward County Community Development Division for the 50th Year Community Development Block Grant Program. The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to the City for senior programs. Two Public Hearings will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, one at 10 a.m. and one at 2:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers located in City Hall, 2200 NE 38 Street, Lighthouse Point, Florida.
The Lighthouse Point City Commission shall on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. or later, hold a public hearing on the submission of a grant application in the amount of $28,536.00 to Broward County Community Development Division for 50th Year Funding through the Community Development Block Grant program. Any member of the public wishing to attend the meeting virtually may obtain the information for doing so on the City’s website at https://city.lighthousepoint.com/agendas-minutes/ or contact the City Clerk at email@example.com.
Anyone needing auxiliary service, please contact City Clerk at least five (5) days prior to meeting (56 Fed. Reg. 35721, Sec. 35.160(b)). Anyone wishing to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered will need a record of the proceeding and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
