FPL is beginning the first phase of their Storm Secure Underground project in Lighthouse Point beginning Wednesday, April 22, 2020. There will be directional drilling and other activities occurring in the area utilizing trucks and machinery resulting in occasional lane closures.
• Marina Area: Conduit and underground wiring have been installed. Transformer installations underway.
• NE 21 Way between Sample Road and NE 38 St: Transformer placement and building hookups underway
• NE 36 Ct/NE 37 St/NE 37 Ct from NE 22 Terr to NE 23 Ave: Transformer placement and building hookups underway
• NE 26 Ave from NE 39 St south to cul-de-sac: Transformer placement and building hookups underway
• NE 24 Ave from NE 39 St south to cul-de-sac: Transformer placement and building hookups underway
• NE 33 ST/NE 34 St from NE 28 Ave to NE 29 Ave: Transformer placement and building hookups underway
