[ARCHIVED] Public Comments on Rebuild Florida General Infrastructure Program Grant Applications

Notice is hereby given that the City of Lighthouse Point is offering citizens the opportunity to make comments on proposed grant applications for the Rebuild Florida General Infrastructure Program.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Lighthouse Point is offering citizens the opportunity to make comments on the proposed grant application for the Rebuild Florida General Infrastructure Program competitive solicitation issued by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) with funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block (CDBG) to address unmet infrastructure needs related to protection of critical facilities.  The project will consist of hardening activities at the Dan Witt Community Center located at 4521 NE 22nd Ave. Lighthouse Point, FL 33064.  These activities include hardening and the installation of generator to provide uninterrupted power during an emergency.  The City is requesting $1,500,000. The program does not require matching funds from the City.

The comment period begins on Monday, August 17, 2020 and ends on Monday, August 31, 2020. All comments must be submitted to blysengen@lighthousepoint.com and must be received no later than close of business on August 31, 2020 to be included with the application package submitted to the State of Florida.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Lighthouse Point is offering citizens the opportunity to make comments on the proposed grant application for the Rebuild Florida General Infrastructure Program competitive solicitation issued by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) with funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block (CDBG) to address unmet infrastructure needs related to protection of critical facilities.  The project will consist of construction of a new Fire Station and EOC located at 2101 NE 36th Street, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064.  These activities include hardening and the installation of generator to provide uninterrupted power during an emergency.  The City is requesting $4,453,000.00. The program does not require matching funds from the City.

The comment period begins on Monday, August 17, 2020 and ends on Monday, August 31, 2020. All comments must be submitted to blysengen@lighthousepoint.com and must be received no later than close of business on August 31, 2020 to be included with the application package submitted to the State of Florida.

Sample Road Bridge

Notice is hereby given that the City of Lighthouse Point is offering citizens the opportunity to make comments on the proposed grant application for the Rebuild Florida General Infrastructure Program competitive solicitation issued by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) with funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block (CDBG) to address unmet infrastructure needs related to protection of critical facilities.  The project will consist of mitigation activities for the Sample Road bridge. These activities include the replacement of the existing bridge to provide safe and reliable access during an emergency.  The City is requesting $2,500,000. The program does not require matching funds from the City.

The comment period begins on Monday, August 17, 2020 and ends on Monday, August 31, 2020. All comments must be submitted to blysengen@lighthousepoint.com and must be received no later than close of business on August 31, 2020 to be included with the application package submitted to the State of Florida.
