Daily Route Updates
Due to staff shortages, your garbage collection may be delayed. Please leave your waste and recycling containers out until they are emptied. We will provide updates here on specific locations of the City affected.
3/8/2022: Homes in the Marina area off of NE 27th Street will be serviced today.
Household Garbage and Bulk Trash are collected twice a week, including every holiday except Christmas Day. Regular collection may be interrupted during hurricane warnings. Be sure to check the City website for special instructions.
Residents provide their own household garbage containers which cannot exceed 50 pounds when filled. Please do not place recyclable materials, garbage, or bulk trash, other than vegetative matter, for pickup prior to 3 pm the day before the scheduled pick up, and retrieve the containers no later than 9 pm the day of the scheduled pickup. Place your containers at the curb on collection day by 7 am. Please wrap sharp objects and place them in a bag before inserting into the garbage container. Large pieces of glass and mirror must be wrapped in cardboard.
