Bulk Trash

Collections

Bulk Trash and Yard Waste are collected twice a week, on the same days as your regularly scheduled household garbage collection days. Please place bulk trash/yard waste separate from your household garbage and recycling. Keep piles away from trees, limbs, overhead utility wires, fire hydrants, mailboxes and any other objects in the area.

Bulk Waste/Trash

Bulk Waste/trash shall mean large, discarded items including, but not limited to, discarded White Goods, toilets, pool heaters, sheet metal, bedding, furniture, yard waste and other similar items.  

Bulk Waste is to be placed at the curb for collection by 7am on the scheduled service day. 

Bulk Waste must be generated from the property. Imported waste, or waste not generated from activity on the property, is not accepted. 

 Materials accepted for bulk service include, but are not limited to: 

  • Furniture
  • Carpet
  • Mattresses
  • Toys
  • Bicycles
  • Yard Waste
  • White Goods (Refrigerators, Stoves, A/C Units, Washers, Hot Water Heaters, etc.)
  • Non-contractor construction debris such as bathtub, toilet, fencing, doors, sinks, cabinets 
  • Items in the bulk pile cannot exceed 12 feet. Glass must be placed in a sturdy, rigid container for collection. 

Items not acceptable for bulk service include, but are not limited to:

  • Tree stumps or any tree section more than 12 inches in diameter  
  • Hazardous materials, including paint and other liquids  
  • Boats and boat parts, vehicles and vehicle parts
  • Combining bulk trash piles is not acceptable. 
  • Dirt, sand, pavers, concrete, masonry and tile

Bulk generated by a contractor remodeling, repairing, or installing equipment at a residential home shall be disposed of by the contractor performing the remodeling/repair work.  In the event contractor-generated bulk waste is left for curbside pickup, it shall be considered unacceptable waste and will not be removed. 

Contractors shall be responsible for the proper handling of any white goods and electronic equipment that the Contractor collects.

Note

No construction material will be picked up. Residents, construction contractors, and landscape maintenance providers must dispose of all debris generated by their work. Residents risk being charged a disposal fee for the removal of any construction debris and landscape debris left by a contractor or landscaper.
